This bible is more of an evangelical tool than a study bible. Buy it for the "evidence" it provides, not as a primary study bible. The "comfortable" KJV seems fine to me - similar to the NKJV. Good addition to the Christian library!

The Evidence Bible is a good "everymans bible." It is easy to read and understand while conveying the scriptures accurately and in context. I was somewhat surprised to be pointed to a quote from a friend and colleague of mine, Dan Arnold, the owner of the Road Ranger chain from Rockford, Illinois in the footnotes on page 1311 (Luke Chapter 13). "The gospel has not been clearly preached if the hearer doesnt know that not to make a decision is a decision. " This bible is chock full of notes and anecdotes like that to help the reader grow spiritually.

I love this Bible! It is the KJV only without the "thee's & thou's", which makes for easier reading and understanding. This is not a study Bible, but rather a tool for evangelism. If you know Jesus as your savior then you will want this this book. It's filled with questions and answers for most every encounter with the lost. Also, includes definitions of other faiths. Complete with pictures, I highly recommend this Bible for every Christain.
 Interesting but Boring November 17, 2007
I own this Bible and have given it as a gift. It's side notes are amazingly interesting but I find it hard to immerse myself into the King James Version of the Bible and that's the only version this particular Bible comes in.
