A must for every home's library - The Faith - Charles Colson December 12, 2008 The Faith...by Charles Colson should be a 'must' book in every family's library and the whole family, teenagers included, should discuss it freely. We are living in very tenuous times. What and Why we believe it has to be foundational to each of us. Colson addresses current issues giving the why he believes what he believes and the Scriptural basis for each . Too many of us do not understand what 'tolerance' really means and Colson defines this very succinctly.
the Faith November 26, 2008 Excellent book. Sending to my grandsons ages 16&18 My three sons and members of my bible study. Should be in everyone's library. The Faith: What Christians Believe, Why They Believe It, and Why It Matters
A comprehensive overview of Christ and His call November 4, 2008 A must read for any person curious about Christ or seeking to grow in their understanding of Christ and the church, both in historical context and in our walk today.
A necessary challenge to the Church in today's social/political/moral climate.
Color me ambivalent... October 29, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I applaud the book in general for its concise presentation of the main tenets of Christian faith. The uncritical acceptance (endorsement?) of Roman Catholicism, however, makes me wonder if the co-authors are aware of RC departures from the faith on important doctrines which, together with distancing Church devices, necessitated The Reformation.
The Faith Chuck Colson September 5, 2008 This book is a must read for all. Excellent free Bible Study material available too.
