Direct Verse Jump (DVJ):
This technique was pioneered by OSNOVA and is simply the best navigational technique for Kindle-Bibles. To navigate directly to a passage simply type book.chapter.verse and press the thumb-stick button twice. (i.e.- for matthew 5:23 type "mt.5.23"... see below for a complete listing of abbreviations) On newer Kindle models the dedicated number keys have been removed... this is only a minor inconvenience, as the first row of letters function as number keys when used with (ALT). Note: DVJ is only available after the complete book has been indexed by your Kindle.
